セキュリティ対策として使用されるWAFの説明として、適切なものはどれか。

ア　ECなどのWebサイトにおいて、Webアプリケーションソフトウェアの脆弱性を突いた攻撃からの防御や、不審なアクセスのパターンを検知する仕組み
WAFは「Web Application Firewall」の略で、Webアプリケーションを守るためのセキュリティです。Webサイトへの攻撃には、SQLインジェクションやクロスサイトスクリプティング（XSS）など、Webアプリの弱点を狙うものがあります。WAFは、このような不審な通信を検知し、攻撃をブロックする役割があります。ECサイトやログインページなどを守るために使われます。
WAF stands for “Web Application Firewall,” and it is a security system used to protect web applications. Attacks on websites include SQL injection and Cross-Site Scripting (XSS), which exploit vulnerabilities in web applications. WAF detects suspicious traffic and blocks these attacks. It is commonly used to protect e-commerce sites and login pages.

イ　インターネットなどの公共のネットワークを用いて、専用線のようなセキュアな通信環境を実現する仕組み
VPNの説明です。VPNは、インターネット上に仮想的な専用回線を作り、安全に通信するための仕組みです。

ウ　情報システムにおいて、機密データを特定して監視することによって、機密データの紛失や外部への漏えいを防止する仕組み
DLP（Data Loss Prevention）の説明です。これは機密情報を監視して、外部への漏えいを防ぐ仕組みです。

エ　ファイアウォールを用いて、インターネットと企業の内部ネットワークとの間に緩衝領域を作る仕組み
DMZの説明です。DMZは、社内ネットワークとインターネットの間に中間の領域を作り、直接侵入されるのを防ぐ仕組みです。
